Pediatric Cardiac Life Support - PALS Provider
Pediatric Advanced Life Support emphasizes the importance of Basic Life Support CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. Simulated clinical scenarios encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as a team leader.
Who should take Pals certification training course?
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course is for Healthcare Professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course completion card for job or other requirements.

Cardiac, respiratory and shock case discussions and simulations
Systematic Approach to Pediatric Assessment
E-card issued same day
A 50 question multiple choice test is administered after the completion of class.
A grade of 84% or better is required before your card can be issued.
Full participation is required, attendance and arriving on time are mandatory to receive a completion card.
Students will receive an American Heart Association ACLS eCard after successfully completing the test, after all Skills Stations are completed, satisfactory, and full attendance was made. This card is valid for 2 years.
PALS Provider Blended E-Learning Option:
PALS Provider Blended e-Learning uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students PALS knowledge and skills.
After completing the online portion, students attend a structured PALS Blended e-Learning Skills which is a hands-on session with an AHA Instructor.
